Call for Tutorials/Panels

The tutorials and panel discussions at the BPM 2012 conference bring together expert knowledge and opinions that complement the conference’s core research and industry program. Tutorials provide conference delegates with the opportunity to get an in-depth introduction to a specific set of methods or tools in the field of BPM. Panel discussions are open conversations where thought leaders discuss controversial topics or trends and answer to questions and comments from the audience.

We encourage tutorials and panels that are in line with the topics listed in the BPM 2012 Call for Papers, as well as tutorials and panels on emerging aspects of BPM, or topics that expand the horizon of the conference.

 We specifically solicit proposals for 3-hours tutorials and 1.5-hour panels.

Proposals for tutorials should include: title, abstract (1-2 pages), intended audience, outline, name, affiliation and brief biography of each presenter. In addition, existing slides for the tutorial may be attached to the tutorial proposal.

Proposals for panels should include: title, abstract (1-2 pages), name, affiliation and brief biography of the moderator, and a list of potential panelists. The panel’s abstract should emphasize the controversial issues that might be discussed during the panel.

Proposals should be submitted in electronic form (plain text or PDF) by e-mail sent to the Tutorial/Panel Chairs using the following e-mail address: bpm2012.tutorials@lists.ut.ee.
